It has been a busy few months here at Coolie Angus. Our winter crops have been slow, but with the 100mm of beautiful rain we received in June, followed by some lovely sunny days, the bulls and weaners are finally getting onto them. What an exciting time to be a part of the cattle industry, with the prices like we have never seen before, and the forecast La Nina for spring. We were thrilled when we topped the Hunter Valley Angus Breeders Sale for the second year, with our PTIC heifers. A big thankyou to Yarrandi Farms, Scone for their ongoing support of Coolie Angus. A big thank you must also go to our repeat clients who have bought PTIC heifers from us over the last couple of months. We have been surprised at the overwhelming interest in the PTIC heifers. Our bulls for our annual bull sale are looking great and there has been lots of enquiry this year which is very exciting. This year’s sale will be conducted by Dean Taylor from Scone. We look forward to welcoming you on Friday 19 August 2016. Moring tea and lunch will be served. Lastly we would like to welcome our newest member to the Coolie team. Our overseer Clint Parker and his wife Corrine welcomed a beautiful little daughter Olivia in April.
